Sangeetayan Institute of Dance & Music of India of Midland will present its annual program at 2 pm in the auditorium of Grace Dow Memorial Library, 1710 W. St. Andrews, Midland. The program will feature Indian dance and music items by students of Sangeeta Kar. The oldest Indian classical dance form called Odissi, noted for its innate gracefulness, sculpturesque postures and fluid movements will be presented. Songs and dances from the Indian film industry Bollywood will also be featured. Students ranging from 3 to adult will perform dressed in traditional costumes and jewelry from India. Sangeeta Kar is the founder-director. The public is invited. The event is free.

Independence Day Craft Show is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Williams Township Hall, Auburn.

Sunday, June 11Airport Story Time, for children of all ages, is scheduled for 3 to 4 p.m. at Jack Barstow Airport, 2800 Airport Road, Midland. Kiddos will be given fruit snacks and juice while they listen to two aviation and/or seasonal story books. Afterward we'll do a simple craft.

Sanford's Summer Concert Series presents the music of Tweed & Dixie from 3 to 6 p.m. in Porte Park in Sanford. Admission is free. A dance floor and other activities are planned. A variety of food trucks will be on site.

Camerata, the chamber choir of the Center, returns for the first time since 2019. A spring concert begins at 7 p.m. at Memorial Presbyterian Church, Asman St., Midland. Dr. Matt Travis and Anna Doering will lead the ensemble. Repertoire will include choral classics and familiar pop music. Seating is general admission inside the church.
